San Antonio Spurs
San Antonio is a team that can get hot from three-point land very quickly and we saw just that in their latest win over the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday. They drained 11 of those in the first half alone and finished the game with a total of 18. This is the biggest improvement this team has made compared to last season when they were dead last in the NBA in three-pointers made. With no clear cut star on the roster it’s hard to sometimes know where to expect the danger to come from. Dejounte Murray is one guy the Mavs will have to keep an eye on, he had 26 points against the Kings.
Their win over the Kings was impressive, but I just cannot see them getting hot from three-point land like that again. Dallas is the more serious team here, they are the ones hunting one of the top 4 seeds in the West and with their record against teams with losing records, I have a feeling they get the job done here as well.
