Phoenix Suns vs Sacramento Kings betting tips and predictions for Monday’s clash in the NBA. The Phoenix Suns take their 4-game win streak to the Golden 1 Arena as they take on the 5-5 Sacramento Kings. Read on for all our free predictions and betting tips.

Phoenix Suns

Phoenix SunsAlthough they’ve mainly beaten teams with losing records during their win streak, the Phoenix Suns are finally back in the mix in the Western Conference. Their latest win over Atlanta was impressive, Devin Booker finally had a great game offensively scoring 38 points. Chris Paul was his usual self with 13 assists, the Suns outscored the Hawks by 16 points in the 4th quarter to completely turn that game around. Now they face a team they’ve beaten only 4 times in the last 13 meetings on the road.

Sacramento Kings

Sacramento KingsSacramento is coming off a disappointing 3-point home loss to the Indiana Pacers which ruined their perfect 2-0 start to their 4-game homestand. Before they hit the road for the next 4 games they’ll have to take care of business against the Suns. Star point-guard De’Aaron Fox still hasn’t found a way to improve his shooting, right now he’s at 39.2% from the field and just 17.8% from three. If it wasn’t for Harrison Barnes having a career year scoring-wise this team would have likely been near the bottom of the Western Conference. The Kings have covered the spread 5 times in their last 7 games.

When you have one of your star players struggling like that and now he has to go up against a seasoned veteran Chris Paul, it’s unlikely his slump will be ending any time soon. Phoenix could be without Deandre Ayton here which could open up the middle a bit, but they have enough firepower to outscore these Kings. Give me Phoenix to cover.

Neither teams has impressed defensively so far this season, they rank 24th and 25th in points allowed per game. It’s a different story on the offensive end, Sacramento ranks 5th in offensive efficiency, while the Suns are 10th. Ayton not playing resulted in a high scoring game last time out for the Suns. An otherwise modest team offensively, the Atlanta Hawks, finished the game with 117 points. Phoenix has allowed 100+ in three straight and although only 217 points were scored in the meeting between these two earlier this season, I’m expecting a bit more tonight. Both teams have found their groove and are scoring 110.2 and 113.2 points per game, which would be enough for the total to go over if they reached those numbers. So let’s back the over in this one.
