Sacramento Kings – LA Clippers Predictions & Odds

LA Clippers vs Sacramento Kings betting tips and predictions for Wednesday’s game on NBA TV. Los Angeles will try to end a 3-game losing streak as they hit the road and travel to Sacramento to take on the Kings. Read on for all our free predictions and betting tips.

LA Clippers

LA ClippersDespite losing their last 3 against Western Conference opponents, the Clippers are 5.5 point favorites heading into tonight’s game. One of the reasons for that is surely the return of Paul George who came back in the game against San Antonio 2 days ago. He will need some time to adjust after a lengthy layoff due to an elbow issue, so a bit of rust is normal in his first couple of games back. I’m expecting a much better performance tonight against a team the Clippers have beaten in 15 of their last 16 road games. LA has just one player in health and safety protocols and that is Marcus Morris, aside from that they are pretty healthy compared to the rest of the NBA.

Sacramento Kings

Sacramento KingsA total of 8 Kings players are in quarantine right now, plus Richaun Holmes has an eye problem and is questionable for tonight’s game. That’s all a big blow to the ambition of the Sacramento Kings here, especially when we know that De’Aaron Fox won’t be playing tonight. This team has exchanged wins and losses in their last 5 outings and has been unable to find consistency all season long. In their last 7 games they’ve covered the spread just twice, however at home they are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 most recent games. Oddly enough they did beat this Clippers team in the last 3 games head-to-head, but you have to wonder if they’ll be able to sustain that in tonight’s game with so many players out.

LA is the much healthier team here and that is the only reason I’m backing them here. They’ve been on a poor run lately, but things will pick up with the return of Paul George who will be the best player on the floor tonight by a long shot. Expect him to dominate and the Clippers to win this one fairly easily. Back LA to cover.

Clippers -5.5 Point Spread available at -110 odds on bet365

Ever since Alvin Gentry took over as Sacramento head coach this team has had very little issues scoring the ball. In their last 3 games they are averaging 108 games despite half of their team being out. The issues for them are on the defensive end where they are giving up 117 points per game in their last 3 outings, the 5th highest mark in the NBA. A Clippers team with a healthy Paul George will know how to take advantage of that. LA is currently the 4th best defensive efficiency team in the NBA, I think Sacramento could have a hard time scoring the ball here without Fox handling the ball at point guard. In the last 31 Clippers games the under has cashed 18 times and in their 5 most recent games that’s been the case 4 times. In head-to-head meetings the under has cashed 6 times in the last 9 games. All signs point to a lower scoring game here, so let’s go with the under.
