Portland got back Damian Lillard in their last game, but even he couldn’t do much as they lost their 5th game in a row and 8th over their last 9 games. Dame had 24 points and 11 rebounds, but once again struggled from the field and shot just 5-for-17 in the 116-111 loss to Minnesota. He will have to pick up his game as the Blazers will depend on him to get results. His backcourt mate C.J. McCollum will be out for an extended period of time after suffering a collapsed lung due to a hit to his ribs a few games ago. The Blazers are crumbling right now, they’ve covered the spread just once in their last 5 games overall and are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 at the Moda Center. What’s even more concerning is the fact that they’ve lost 7 in a row vs West teams.
Phoenix is the complete opposite, they are doing really well vs teams from the Western Conference.
