Phoenix Suns vs Milwaukee Bucks betting tips and predictions for Tuesday’s NBA game on NBA TV. The finalists from 2 seasons ago meet up tonight in the Valley for the 2nd and final time this regular season. Read on for all our free predictions and betting tips.
Both teams will be playing on a 2nd night of a back-to-back, but unlike their opponent the Suns were on the receiving end of a tough loss at Golden State. The Warriors got off to a fast start and led by as many as 25 points, ultimately winning the game by 11. Phoenix did attempt a comeback in the 2nd half, but they just didn’t have enough to cope with the firepower of the defending champions.
Now they face another tough task as they host Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks who beat them 104-101 some 3 weeks ago in Milwaukee. The two teams have been evenly matched over the last 10 meetings, with the Bucks having a 6-4 edge in wins. The Suns will be basing their optimism on the fact that they’re 12-6 SU in their last 18 games played.
Giannis made a triumphant return to the line-up following 1 game of rest with 46 points and 12 rebounds last night in a win at Sacramento. The Bucks put up 133 points while shooting 58% from the field and knocking down 15 threes. Once again they proved they are the team to beat when they have all their guys available.
Boston losing in Houston also helps them keep hold of the number 1 seed in the East, with just 14 games to go it’s pretty obvious they’ll stay there for the rest of the regular season. Against tonight’s opponent the Bucks have 6 wins in the last 7 meetings, while also covering the spread in 5 of those games. On the road this team has gone an impressive 10-1 SU in their last 11 played.
It’s hard not to back the Bucks here. They just dominated one of the best teams in the NBA last night, while Phoenix is having issues without Kevin Durant. It might be a close game, but I’m picking the Bucks to come out on top here.
Phoenix Suns vs Milwaukee Bucks Predictions & Odds
It’s always a fun match-up between these two teams, especially when they play in Phoenix as the last 6 meetings there have all cashed on the over. That’s been the bet to wager in head-to-head meetings, the O/U is at 9-4 in the last 13 played which makes for another entertaining clash tonight. Milwaukee is 5-2 in favor of the over in their last 7 games, while the Suns are 5-0 in their last 5 played.
Defensively the Suns are struggling a bit, in their last 2 of 3 games they allowed 128 and 126 points vs Sacramento and Dallas, I think we can all agree the Suns are on their level offensively. Milwaukee’s games have also been high scoring lately, 5 of their last 7 have seen more than 232.5 points which is tonight’s projected total. With both teams scoring 20 threes twice over their last 5 games, I think we’ll see plenty of offense on display tonight at Footprint Center. Let’s back the over.
