Phoenix did attempt a comeback in the 2nd half, but they just didn’t have enough to cope with the firepower of the defending champions.
Now they face another tough task as they host Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks who beat them 104-101 some 3 weeks ago in Milwaukee. Giannis made a triumphant return to the line-up following 1 game of rest with 46 points and 12 rebounds last night in a win at Sacramento. The Bucks put up 133 points while shooting 58% from the field and knocking down 15 threes. Once again they proved they are the team to beat when they have all their guys available.
Boston losing in Houston also helps them keep hold of the number 1 seed in the East, with just 14 games to go it’s pretty obvious they’ll stay there for the rest of the regular season. Against tonight’s opponent the Bucks have 6 wins in the last 7 meetings, while also covering the spread in 5 of those games. On the road this team has gone an impressive 10-1 SU in their last 11 played.
It’s hard not to back the Bucks here. They just dominated one of the best teams in the NBA last night, while Phoenix is having issues without Kevin Durant. It might be a close game, but I’m picking the Bucks to come out on top here.
