With 3 consecutive losses they are down to 4th in the standings, and to make matters worse they could also be without Kyrie Irving in tonight’s game as he did not play against San Antonio on Tuesday. The Nets didn’t stand much of a chance, Ben Simmons did notch a triple double, but the rest of the team didn’t follow suit and they fell on the road against one of the worst teams in the NBA.
The good thing about being the favorite in tonight’s game is that the Nets are 22-9 SU in that role this season, so going just by that they should be winning tonight’s game. They are 10-4 SU in the last 14 meetings with Phoenix.

Scoring has been a major issue during the last 10 or so games for the Suns as there are simply not enough bodies to create points. All of their point guards are out injured, as well as Devin Booker who is their leading scorer. Deandre Ayton is seemingly the most reliable scoring option at the moment, but the Nets are pretty deep at the center spot so I’m not sure even he will get it going here. Irving coming back will definitely help, but I’m not sure if we’ll see them scoring 120 points like they do on a consistent basis with Durant in the line-up.
