It’s hard to overlook what Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers are doing right now. Philly is on a 7-game win streak vs East coast opponents, their only injury worry for tonight is P.J. Tucker who is questionable with an ankle problem.
Chicago Bulls
Despite the losing record in head-to-head meetings, these Bulls won’t go away that easily. They’ve gotten hot just at the right time winning 4 of their last 5 games which has them now 1.5 games ahead of the Indiana Pacers for the 10th place in the East and final play-in tournament position. They did beat the Sixers in the last meeting between the two teams played in Philly 126-112 back in early January, Zach LaVine took over with 41 points, but it has to be noted that Joel Embiid did not play in that game. Alex Caruso will be a game time decision here, he left the previous Bulls game with a foot injury and his status is unknown.
This will be a tough match-up for both sides, but I have to go with the in-form 76ers. They’re the best team in the NBA right now, Embiid is playing like an MVP and until someone takes them down I’m rolling with them. Sixers to cover.
