The injuries just keep on pilling up for the 76ers and the latest victim is Joel Embiid who has now been placed in the NBA’s health and safety protocols. Without the big man, Philly didn’t stand much chance and lost last night to New York. In his absence it was Andre Drummond who stepped up with 14 points and 25 rebounds, but the Sixers depth has taken a big hit as only 3 players came off the bench. Embiid joins Tobias Harris, Isaiah Joe, Grant Riller, Ben Simmons and Matisse Thybulle on the sidelines. Danny Green is also questionable, but he could play. Philly has covered the spread in 5 games straight, but you have to wonder if that stat is relevant now after their latest injury setback.
Milwaukee has struggled on both ends, but they have the best player in tonight’s game and they could also get Jrue Holiday back for this one. The injury situation in Philadelphia is just too much to handle right now, so I’m going to side with the Bucks in this one.
