It wasn’t the prettiest of games to watch as both teams shot below 40% from the field, but in the end Orlando scraped through thanks to Wendell Carter Jr. who finished with 30 points and 16 rebounds.
It was only their 2nd win in 7 home games, for the season they are just 9-26 SU at the Amway Center which is one of the worst records in the entire league. When it comes to meetings with the Warriors, Orlando has gone just 2-6 ATS in their last 6 at home and they are also on a 9-game losing streak vs teams from the Pacific Division.
Golden State Warriors
Despite a 20-point improvement over their last 2 games, the Golden State Warriors fell for the 2nd game in a row against San Antonio on Sunday 110-108. It was the 2nd game in a row they allowed 110 points, not having Stephen Curry took it’s toll on offence as well, but they at least managed to somewhat improve on that end.
They could also be without Andrew Wiggins tonight as he has been listed as day-to-day with a knee problem. It’ll be a welcome sight for them to face a team like Orlando as they are in desperate need of a win to keep hold of the 3rd seed in the West as the Utah Jazz are just 2.5 games behind with 10 games to go.
Bettors have been happy with the Warriors lately as they’ve covered the spread in 5 of their last 7 games, against the Eastern Conference they are 14-6 SU over their last 20 games so there’s a ton of optimism ahead of tonight’s game.
