Dejounte Murray dropped 36 points on them that game, so the primary focus here will be to slow down Murray. The defense worked well in their last game as they held the Cavaliers to just 81 points on under 35% shooting from the field, but I’m curious to see if they can repeat that performance against the high scoring Hawks.

Trae Young’s shooting woes continued as he made only 6 of 19 shots from the field, including just 1 for 7 from three-point land.
He’s had a problem with his shoulder for quite some time now, I wouldn’t be shocked if the Hawks decided to shut him down until he heals up, because at this point he’s hurting the team more than he’s contributing. Hawks are just 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games vs Eastern Conference teams, they’ve also covered only once in 5 games against Atlantic Division opponents. De’Andre Hunter and John Collins are still nowhere near coming back as they heal from thigh and ankle injuries.

The Hawks just allowed over 120 points against a fairly mediocre offensive team in Oklahoma City, the Knicks play a similar style to the Thunder which is alarming for any Hawks fans out there.
Both of these teams rank in the top 10 when it comes to pace as well, while on defense New York is only 20th in efficiency which opens up the door for a high scoring night for the road team.
