Only Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. scored in double digits for the Grizz who just didn’t have an answer for Chris Paul and Devin Booker. Tonight’s game is a perfect bounce back opportunity, they are without a road win in the month of November. Against the Pelicans they actually have a negative record on the road over the last 8 games beating them just once. They’ve also gone 0-6 ATS in their last 6 against them.

I’m actually surprised how well the Pelicans played last night against Brooklyn. They were able to keep the game somewhat close and only lost by 8 points in the end against a much superior opponent. All five starters scored in double figures which is a good sign, however this team is not going to be taken seriously until two of their superstars return. With a net rating of -11.6 teams are just pouncing on them at this stage. They commit the 24th most amount of turnovers at 15.9 per game. They’ve also covered the spread just once in their last 6 games.
Until something changes drastically for the Pelicans I’ll keep betting against them. Memphis is on a cold run at the moment, but even they can beat the worst team in basketball right now. Give me the Grizzlies to cover the spread here.
