Minnesota is finally playing on a high level. They’ve won 4 games in a row, but what’s even more impressive they’ve held all 4 of those opponents to under 100 points, something we’re not accustomed to seeing from them. Their trio of Karl-Anthony Towns, Anthony Edwards and D’Angelo Russell is playing well. KAT and Ant are averaging over 20 points, while Russell is at 18.3 per game. As a team the Wolves have averaged 121 points over their last 3 games, which is almost a 14 points increase from their season average. Facing a tough Miami defense will be a huge test for them though, the Heat are allowing only 99.3 points over their last 3 games. They’ll most likely have to face them without the services of Josh Okogie who is questionable with a back injury. The Timberwolves are 2 point underdogs coming into this one, they’ve covered the spread in their last 5 games overall.
I’m expecting both teams be fired out for tonight. Both are in great form, plus there’s also history between Butler and the Wolves. Minnesota has had the upper hand with 5 wins in the last 6 meetings, I think with their recent stellar form that continues tonight. Give me the Wolves to cover here.
