Milwaukee Bucks vs Chicago Bulls | Tip & Odds (27.4.2022)

Milwaukee Bucks vs Chicago Bulls betting tips and predictions for Wednesday’s NBA Eastern Conference Playoff game on TNT. With a comfortable 3-1 lead, the Milwaukee Bucks try to close out the Chicago Bulls tonight as the two teams meet up for Game 5 of their 1st Round series. Read on for all our free predictions and betting tips.

Milwaukee Bucks

Milwaukee BucksA strong 2nd quarter ensured Milwaukee would get out of Chicago with another win as they took a 3-1 lead on Sunday. Giannis Antetokounmpo had his standard 32 points, 17 rebounds and 7 assists on really solid efficiency, while Jrue Holiday added 26 and 7 assists.

Grayson Allen was a big help coming off the bench with 27 points, filling in the scoring role of the absent Khris Middleton. The Bucks will be without him once again in Game 5, but they should be good enough to finish off the Bulls in front of their home fans.

They’ve beaten them 18 times in the last 20 meetings and in their last 16 games against Eastern Conference opponents they are 14-2 SU. Against the bulls they’ve covered 6 times in the last 10 meetings.

Chicago Bulls

Chicago BullsThe story coming out of Chicago for tonight’s game is the status of Zach LaVine who entered health and safety protocols which will cost him tonight’s game. Alex Caruso is also questionable as he left the previous game with a head injury, he needs to go through concussion protocols in order to be available tonight. Both are big hits to the ambitions of the Chicago Bulls, even with them in the line-up they are huge underdogs against a much better Bucks team.

DeMar DeRozan will once again have to do it on his own, he had 23 points in the previous game, but it took him 23 shots to get there. Big things are also expected from Nikola Vucevic who was a big letdown with just 11 points in his previous outing. Chicago has just 2 wins in their last 9 games overall and vs the Bucks they are just 2-5 ATS in their last 7. The one thing that can give bettors hope here is the fact that the Bulls have covered the spread 5 times in their last 6 road games.

It’s never easy closing out teams, the spread has been set at a whopping 12 points here. Even though the Bulls lost the last game by 24 at home, I think they’ll put up a much better fight in tonight’s game, especially since they are missing a couple of key players. Milwaukee should still get the win, but I’m backing the Bulls and the massive spread here.

Milwaukee Bucks vs Chicago Bulls Predictions & Odds

Scoring has been a major problem for these Bulls in this series, they have been held under 100 points in 3 of the 4 games played. One time they went over 100 points was in their Game 2 win 114-110. However, in that game, the injury situation was much better than tonight. The absence of LaVine will be huge in this game, he’s averaging over 20 points per game in this series for Chicago. The total could once again go under, as it has in 4 of Chicago’s previous 5 games and in 9 of their last 10 vs Central Division opponents.

For the Bucks the under has cashed 4 of their last 5 overall and in 5 straight home games against the Bulls. Overall, in the last 7 of 8 meetings head-to-head the total has cashed on the under. Closing out a team is one of the hardest things to do in sports, so I’m expecting the nerves to also play a role here which could result in more missed shots on both ends. When all things considered I think backing the under is the way to go in this one.
