Milwaukee Bucks vs Atlanta Hawks betting tips and predictions for Monday’s NBA game on BSWI. After just 1 win in their last 3 games, the Bucks look to get back to winning ways as they host the Atlanta Hawks for already the 3rd meeting of the season between the two teams. Read on for all our free predictions and betting tips.

Milwaukee Bucks

Milwaukee BucksIt’s revenge time for the Bucks who lost to Atlanta midway through last week 117-98 in Atlanta. The season series is now tied at 1-1, despite it only being November we all know Giannis Antetokounmpo will want to get revenge for that loss a few days ago. The Bucks remained 1st in the East despite a 1-2 record over their last 3 games, however with the Celtics lurking behind them they need to bounce back here in order to retain first.

They’ve won 7 in a row at home and are 11-1 SU in their last 12 against the Hawks played at the Fiserv Forum. One issue that could hurt Milwaukee’s chances here is the injury to Jrue Holiday who didn’t play in the San Antonio Game over the weekend. Giannis is also listed as day-to-day, but he is expected to suit up.

Atlanta Hawks

Atlanta HawksAtlanta has one only one injury concern at the moment and that is Bogdan Bogdanovic, but he has been out for a while now and still hasn’t played a single game this season. Without him the Hawks lead their division with a 8-5 record, however Washington is just a half game back which means a loss tonight would even their records at 8-6. One player that didn’t play in the Atlanta win over Milwaukee last week was Trae Young.

He is expected to start tonight, his shooting woes have really hurt the Hawks, he is shooting just 38% from the field this season. Dejounte Murray flourished in that game with 25 points and 11 assists, against a hobbled Holiday he might be in for another productive game here.

All things considered, I still feel like the Bucks are the team to beat in the East. The injuries have slowed them down a bit, but they’ll get back to form eventually. They’ve owned the Hawks in head-to-head meetings over the past few seasons, I’m backing them to cover once again tonight.

Milwaukee Bucks vs Atlanta Hawks Predictions & Odds

Without Holiday and Giannis, the Bucks scored just 93 points in their last games against San Antonio. Obviously with those two gone this isn’t the same team, but there is optimism they’ll be back in the line-up tonight against the point-happy Atlanta Hawks. The defense of the Hawks should have a big impact on tonight’s result, they’ve allowed 120+ points in 2 of their last 3 vs Philadelphia and Utah.

That’s been the trend for their road games for a while now with 5 of the last 6 finishing over the total. An average of 223.6 points per game have been scored in the last 10 meetings, in the 3 most recent that number jumps up to 230.6 per game. Assuming the Bucks get their 2 stars back here, I think backing the over is the way to go. Back the points.
