Oklahoma City Thunder vs Milwaukee Bucks betting tips and predictions for Friday’s NBA game. Following their 101-89 win against Houston, the Oklahoma City Thunder hit the road and travel to Milwaukee to take on the Bucks. Read on for all our free predictions and betting tips.

Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City ThunderBeating Houston is nothing to brag about these days, but the Oklahoma City Thunder will take it. The 101-89 win on Wednesday ended a 2-game losing streak and now the young Thunder are back on the road where they’ve won their previous two games at New Orleans and the Lakers. Lu Dort had probably his best game of the season against the Rockets with 34 points on 14-for-22 shooting from the field. Playing against the Bucks tonight they will be the underdogs, but the Thunder haven’t been as bad in that role this season winning 5 of 13 games. They enter tonight’s game having covered the spread 8 times in their last 11 outings, plus they have a decent track record against the Bucks having covered the spread 6 times in the last 9 games against them.

Milwaukee Bucks

Milwaukee BucksThe defending champions are slowly waking up after a tough start to the season. They were able to snap a 2-game losing streak with a 109-102 home win over the Lakers 2 days ago. Giannis Antetokounmpo dominated right from the get-go and finished with 47 points on 18-for-23 shooting. I think it’s safe to say when he plays like that the Bucks are unbeatable. The good news for Milwaukee fans is that the team is slowly recovering from all the injuries that have riddled their season so far. Khris Middleton finally returned to the line-up after a long layoff and finished with 16 points, joining Jrue Holiday who came back a few games ago to form the big 3 again. Brook Lopez and Dante DiVincenzo remain out, but there is a good chance the big man could make a return some time this week.

Milwaukee has covered the spread just 3 times in their last 11 games and asking them to cover a 13 point spread tonight could be a bit too much. Sure, Middleton and Holiday are back, but it might take them some time to get acclimated to the team again. OKC has been solid in recent games, I’m confident they can keep this one close, so let’s back them to cover.

OKC Thunder +13 Point Spread is available at -110 odds on bet365

In terms of pace these two teams play very similarly, the Bucks average 98.5 possessions per game while the Thunder are at 98 per game. Milwaukee ranks only 16th in offensive efficiency, while the Thunder are 29th, so neither team will wow you on that end of the court. All 6 Milwaukee home games have finished under the total this season and same goes for all 6 Oklahoma City Thunder games on the road. Looking at the last 10 meetings head-to-head we can see 8 of those games have finished under the total with the two teams averaging just 211.4 points per game during that stretch and shooting a modest 45% from the field. When the two teams have met at Fiserv Forum, the last 7 of 8 games have gone under the total. So all signs are pointing to a low scoring game here, I’m backing the under with confidence.
