Miami Heat vs Denver Nuggets betting tips and predictions for Friday’s NBA Finals game on ABC. After restoring their home court advantage with a win in Game 3, the Nuggets look to go up 3-1 as they clash with Miami before going back home for Game 5. Read on for all our free predictions and betting tips.

Miami Heat

Miami HeatGame 3 was a rather disappointing one if you’re a Miami Heat fan. Only Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo put up meaningful numbers, as a team they got outrebounded 58 to 33, they had 8 less assists and shot just 37% from the field. All of that will have to improve drastically in Game 4 on Friday if they want to extend this series, another loss and a 3-1 deficit heading into Denver would be catastrophic.

Miami has been doubted so many times this season, but they’ve always managed to come back somehow, so do they have enough to do so one more time? The winner of Game 3 has gone on to win the series 7 times this postseason alone, so the numbers aren’t on the Heat’s side here. They’ve got just 2 victories in their last 7 games overall, however when it comes to playing on Friday they are 4-1 SU in their last 5 played.

Denver Nuggets

Denver NuggetsNikola Jokic and Jamal Murray once again made history as they both finished with 30 point triple doubles in the Game 3 victory, something that we haven’t seen happen ever in the history of the NBA. Christian Braun and Aaron Gordon also helped with efficient offensive performances and order has been restored now with the Nuggets being just 2 wins away from their first ever NBA championship.

They’re now 8-1 SU/ATS in the last 9 meetings with the Heat, on the road they’ve won 4 of their last 5 games overall while covering in 5 straight at Kaseya Center. You have to feel good if you’re a Nuggets fan right now, but relaxing is not an option even if they can afford to lose the next game. The one thing that should worry head coach Michael Malone despite the win on Wednesday is the team’s three-point shooting. They went just 5-for-18 from deep, you have to wonder if that continues will the Nuggets have such an easy time winning.

The good thing about the NBA Playoffs is that the better team wins most of the time and the Nuggets are just that in this series. After watching that performance in Game 3 I really have no reason not to back them in Game 4 as well. They’re just better overall and Miami simply doesn’t have a counter for Jokic. I’ll take the Nuggets to cover once again.

Miami Heat vs Denver Nuggets Predictions & Odds

Scoring has been down in this series, we just had the under cash for the 2nd time in 3 games and as a result the projected total has also been lowered for Game 3 at just 210.5 points. Miami simply hasn’t been able to get it going offensively, the Game 2 performance seems to be an anomaly at this point. Denver has gone under in 6 of their last 9 games, and in 8 of their last 9 vs Eastern Conference opponents.

The same has happened to the Heat now in 6 of their last 7 games, including 4 of their last 5 at home. With only 1 bench player scoring in double figures on Wednesday I just don’t see where the scoring will come from in Game 4. Going with the under is the way to go here, so let’s back that for Friday night.
