Things have been going well for the Miami Heat who have only 7 players on their injury report this time around, after listing all 16 of them in their game against San Antonio a few days ago. Jokes aside though, the health of Jimmy Butler has been crucial for this team, he is listed as probable with a knee injury, we can only hope he suits up tonight against his former team.
The Heat have been dominant vs Eastern Conference opponents winning 5 of the last 7 games, they did lose the game played earlier this season against Chicago after sweeping the regular season series last year. At 9-6 SU, their home form has been nothing to write about this season, this will be their first game at FTX Arena in almost a week.

Chicago’s effort on defense has been questionable to say the least, after their latest loss against the Minnesota Timberwolves. They allowed 150 points in that game, a franchise high for the Wolves. It was the 3rd time in 4 games that Chicago had allowed at least 123 points in a game, efforts like that are the reason why they are only 11-18 on the season.
Another thing that has ruined their season is the injury to Lonzo Ball who has been out since last year, it’s never easy having to play without your main point guard. The Bulls are just 2-7 ATS in their last 9 overall and have lost 5 in a row on the road entering tonight’s game. The trio of DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic have produced numbers, but unfortunately for Bulls fans it hasn’t resulted in many wins this year.
The Bulls are in a funk right now and Miami is the last team you want to face when you’re in a situation like this. The Heat have been better than what their record shows, if there weren’t as many injuries to their players they would be right up there with Boston and Milwaukee in the East standings.
