Game 3 was by far the easiest win for the Miami Heat as they blew out the Celtics 128-102. Gabe Vincent and Duncan Robinson excelled with 29 and 22 points, while Jimmy Butler added a solid 16, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals. The Heat starters got a lot of rest as the game was pretty much over in the 3rd quarter, so they’ll be fresh heading into Game 4.
For the first time in this series the oddsmakers have them as favorites to win, but ESPN’s Analytics still disagree with that giving Boston a 65.6% chance to win Game 4 on the road. Miami is yet to lose at Kaseya Center in this postseason, they’ve covered the spread in 10 of 12 games and look to go back to the NBA Finals for the first time since the 2020 bubble.
Boston Celtics
Head coach Joe Mazzulla took all the blame for the Game 3 beating, but I’m not sure I agree with that completely. The superstars Tatum and Brown combined to score just 26 points in the loss, combining to shoot just 12-for-35 from the field and making just 1 three from 14 attempts. Nobody expected a performance like that, the Celtics are now 0-5 ATS/SU in the last 5 meetings vs Miami and look mentally drained out there.
Teams that are down 3-0 in the NBA Playoffs are 0-150 after last night’s Lakers defeat to Denver, the Celtics are well underway to add to that tonight. One glimmer of hope lies in the fact that they’ve covered the spread in 6 straight games when they were the underdogs, but if they go into tonight’s game thinking about what happened on Sunday they are toast here.
After watching the Nuggets pull off the win last night in LA, I have to go with the Heat tonight. They’ve been the far more consistent team in this series and their opponent has collapsed completely. Take Miami to cover.

I see no reason why we should shy away from that bet for Game 4. The Celtics are now 6-1 on the Over in their last 7 road games and 11-3 in their last 14 overall.
Miami’s O/U home record has reached 27-22 for the season, they too have gone over the total in 5 of their last 6 games now. This series is averaging 228.2 points per game and with the previous 5 of 6 meetings cashing on the over, I think backing that bet is the way to go here.
