That was Philly’s 6th home win of the season, now they head out on the road where they have a better record of 9-6 after 15 games played. Speaking of records, they’ve struggled a bit vs the Grizzlies recently. In 16 games they’ve beaten them only 3 times and in their last 7 visits to FedEx Forum they are without a win. The positive thing ahead of tonight’s game for the Sixers is their health, they are without any major absences for the first time in a long time.
Memphis Grizzlies
Memphis isn’t that lucky at the moment as they have 6 players either out or doubtful for tonight’s game. The biggest name on that list is their best player Ja Morant who hasn’t played since late November, without him the Grizzlies have actually gone on a 5-game win streak and have won 7 of 8 games. Over the weekend they beat the Houston Rockets 113-106 with Dillon Brooks leading the way with 25 points. What was most impressive in that win was their shooting from the field as they finished the game at exactly 50% of shots mate, something nobody saw coming without their best player on the floor. Memphis is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games, they are also 4-1 SU in their last 5 at home, however for some reason they struggle against Eastern Conference teams. They’ve gone just 2-5 ATS in their last 7 such games.
With Steven Adams also being doubtful here, Joel Embiid will have all the space he needs down low and I’m expecting another dominant performance from him.
