Not a lot of people would have guessed the Lakers would blow out the Warriors by 30 points in Game 3, but a superb effort from Anthony Davis, LeBron James and D’Angelo Russell made that become a reality. Golden State Warriors
The experienced Warriors have already been in one tough situation this postseason, in Round 1 they were down 2-0 against the Sacramento Kings before they rallied back with 2 home wins. I would argue this is even tougher as with a win tonight the Lakers would take full control of the series and a 3-1 lead. The three-point shot once again wasn’t going down in Game 3 as they connected on less than 30% of attempts.
The adjustments they made in Game 2 didn’t work at all on Saturday as JaMychal Green scored just 2 points in 11 minutes played. The oddsmakers have the Warriors as 3.5 point underdogs here, they’ve covered the spread just 5 times in their last 20 road games. However, in games played on Monday they are 7-1 ATS in their last 8, so maybe that brings a bit of optimism ahead of tonight’s game.
I think this series will go 7 games, so the Warriors better level things up tonight. They have the personnel to do so, they just have to execute when it matters. I think it’s time someone finally beat these Lakers on their home court. Back Golden State and the extra points.

Aside from Game 1 which was very close, the last 2 games were both blowouts and that’s mainly due to defense. Golden State held the Lakers to just 100 points in Game 2, the Lakers returned the favor in Game 3 holding them to just 97 points. Game 4 is a critical one so I don’t think either team will allow the game get out of hand.
The projected total has stayed the same at 227.5 points, with the assumption that Golden State will shoot a lot better than they did in Game 3 I think the over becomes a tempting bet here. They have a O/U road record of 30-15-1 so far this season, while the Lakers have cashed on that bet in 12 of their last 18 games overall and in 5 of 6 vs Pacific Division opponents. Both games on Sunday’s NBA schedule went over, I think at least 1 does tonight as well and this one is a lot safer bet than New York vs Miami. Take the over.
