If he is able to stay healthy and improve on a nightly basis, the Clippers will be a force in the Western Conference. They are doing all this without another 15+ point per game scorer in Norman Powell, who continues to sit out games due to a groin injury. Minnesota Timberwolves
Minnesota has been hit by the injury bug pretty hard with Karl-Anthony Towns missing extended time with a calf injury. D’Angelo Russell is also questionable with a knee issue, while a couple of rotation players in Taurean Prince and Jordan McLaughlin are both also out.
They are coming off back-to-back road losses at Portland, a place where they don’t win often and tonight’s match-up with the Clippers also promises to be a tough one as they’ve lost 6 of the last 9 meetings with LA. The biggest thing that has hurt these Timberwolves is their record vs teams from their own conference, they’ve won just 2 of 8 such games lately, which hurts their playoff chances significantly.
