Indiana Pacers vs Golden State Warriors betting tips and predictions for Wednesday’s NBA game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. For the 2nd and final time this regular season, it’s the Warriors and Pacers squaring off, exactly a week after their game at Chase Center. Read on for all our free predictions and betting tips.
Since that impressive 112-104 win against the Warriors last week, the Pacers have gone on to lose 3 of their next 4 games. Against Brooklyn they showed no signs of life, especially on defense losing to a team that rested all their key players. They followed it up with another poor performance at home against Miami in a 87-82 loss in which Tyrese Haliburton had a game to forget.
He finished with just 1 point scored, failing to connect on either of his 9 field goal attempts. Tonight’s game will be a massive character test for him, as he tries to bounce back in front of the home fans. I’m also expecting more minutes for rookie Andrew Nembhard, he had 31 points against the Warriors last week and also held Steph Curry to just 12 points on 3-for-17 shooting. The Pacers are 8-4 ATS in their last 12 home games.
Golden State Warriors
This is going to be a 2nd game in two nights for the Warriors, who are coming off a disappointing 17-point loss at Milwaukee, against a team that was without their starting point guard. This team just doesn’t know how to turn things around when playing on the road – so far this season they have just 2 wins in 14 games away from Chase Center and that simply isn’t good enough if you are the defending champions.
Andrew Wiggins continues to miss games, he is not expected back for tonight. The rest of the team is healthy, but the likes of Curry and Thompson will have to step it up tonight, they combined for just 34 points last night, while in the win over Boston they had 66 points together. The Warriors have just 2 wins in 6 games vs Indy, another reason to be worried if you are a Warriors fan here.
I have to side with the Warriors here, despite all their woes on the road. They’ve beaten the Pacers 5 times in their last 6 visits to Indiana, and after seeing Haliburton score just 1 point in the loss to Miami, I am not confident in this team anymore. Give me the Warriors on the road.
Indiana Pacers vs Golden State Warriors Predictions & Odds
These two teams have played surprisingly low scoring games over their last 10 meetings. The O/U during that stretch is 4-6 in favor of the under, and an average of just 215.8 points per game have been scored. The previous meeting played last week finished with just 216 points, so I am a bit surprised with the oddsmakers setting the projected total at 235.5 points here.
Golden State has seen the under cash in 4 of their last 6 overall, 4 of 5 vs Eastern Conference teams and in 14 of 20 vs Central Division opponents. Indiana has also been cashing on unders lately, with 5 of their last 6 games going in that direction. They too have a 1-4 O/U record in games vs Pacific Division teams, so this match-up has the underwritten all over it. Let’s try our luck by backing that then.
