I’m also expecting more minutes for rookie Andrew Nembhard, he had 31 points against the Warriors last week and also held Steph Curry to just 12 points on 3-for-17 shooting. The Pacers are 8-4 ATS in their last 12 home games.
Golden State Warriors
This is going to be a 2nd game in two nights for the Warriors, who are coming off a disappointing 17-point loss at Milwaukee, against a team that was without their starting point guard. This team just doesn’t know how to turn things around when playing on the road – so far this season they have just 2 wins in 14 games away from Chase Center and that simply isn’t good enough if you are the defending champions.
Andrew Wiggins continues to miss games, he is not expected back for tonight. The rest of the team is healthy, but the likes of Curry and Thompson will have to step it up tonight, they combined for just 34 points last night, while in the win over Boston they had 66 points together. The Warriors have just 2 wins in 6 games vs Indy, another reason to be worried if you are a Warriors fan here.
I have to side with the Warriors here, despite all their woes on the road. They’ve beaten the Pacers 5 times in their last 6 visits to Indiana, and after seeing Haliburton score just 1 point in the loss to Miami, I am not confident in this team anymore. Give me the Warriors on the road.
