Golden State Warriors vs Portland Trail Blazers betting tips and predictions for Tuesday’s NBA game at Chase Center. Just a game after scoring 71 points, Damian Lillard and his Blazers head to San Francisco for a date with the defending champions Warriors. Read on for all our free predictions and betting tips.

Golden State Warriors

Golden State WarriorsThese two teams have actually split the last 2 meetings, with each side winning their home games. With just 1.5 games between them in the standings, tonight’s game carries a lot of significance for both sides. Injuries have derailed the Warriors quite a lot this season, they will be without Stephen Curry and Gary Payton II here.

Draymond Green is questionable with a knee issue, as is Andrew Wiggins who has missed the last few games due to personal reasons. Even without those players, Golden State was still able to win their last game vs Minnesota, playing at home made all the difference for them as all 5 starters scored in double figures. Klay Thompson once again turned back the clock with 32 points, he has been catching fire since the all-star break which is exactly what the Warriors fans were hoping for.

Portland Trail Blazers

Portland Trail BlazersThe list of injuries is also long for the Blazers. They’ll be without Jusuf Nurkic, Justise Winslow and Anfernee Simons, three very important players in their rotation. They were able to overcome all that against the Rockets in their last game, but the Warriors are a different level of basketball.

Damian Lillard made all the headlines in that win over the Rockets scoring 71 points, he was both mentally and physically drained following that performance so I’m not really sure in what kind of state he will be ahead of tonight’s game. Not having their best player at 100% will be a huge problem for Portland, when you take into account all the injuries they have right now. They’ve won just twice in their last 20 visits to Chase Center.

Warriors are 7-1 SU in their last 8 at home, 8-3 ATS in their last 11 vs Northwest Division opponents. Injuries have slowed down both teams, but I think Golden State should wrap this one up in front of the home fans. Back the defending champs.

Golden State Warriors vs Portland Trail Blazers Predictions & Odds

An average of over 230 points per game has been scored in the last 10 meetings between these teams, but the O/U has been split at 5-5 during that stretch. Tonight’s game could be unpredictable because of all the injuries I’ve listed, but I’m more inclined to lean towards the under as 4 of the last 6 meetings have gone that way. The Warriors have also gone under in 4 of their last 5 vs West teams, they are lacking the offensive firepower with Steph and Wiggins out of the line-up.

Klay Thompson is playing well, but there are question marks as to how long he can keep this up as he is no longer the same player he was prior to all the injuries. Portland also leans towards the under in road games this season, they are just 11-18 on the O/U away from home and with their leading scorer being tired after scoring 71 points, I think they’ll have a hard time finding the net here. Let’s go with the under.
