Golden State Warriors vs Oklahoma City Thunder betting tips and predictions for Monday’s NBA game at Chase Center. The defending champions look to add to their home record as they host the 12th seeded OKC Thunder tonight. Read on for all our free predictions and betting tips.

Golden State Warriors

Golden State WarriorsStephen Curry just can’t seem to catch a break with injuries this season. The team just announced he will miss several weeks with “partial ligament and membrane tears in leg”, which is a huge blow moving towards the latter part of the season. That also rules Steph out of the all-star game, but it also opens the door for Jordan Poole who is Steph’s main back-up.

In 15 games without Curry, Poole is averaging 28.1 points and 4.3 assists per game, delivering a few memorable performances along the way. He might have to step up against the Thunder tonight as he faces a very similar player in Shai Gilgeous Alexander. The Warriors won the earlier meeting this season and they are 7-3 SU in the last 10 head-to-head.

Oklahoma City Thunder

Oklahoma City ThunderThe Thunder see their chance here after going 6-1 ATS in their last 7 road games and 11-3 ATS in their last 14 overall. They too had a couple of injury concerns ahead of this game, but with their main guy SGA playing well this team is capable of beating anyone on any given night.

They are also capable of losing to anyone though, they just split 2 games with the Houston Rockets, something that shouldn’t really be happening to a team trying to make the postseason. In the win over Houston they dropped 153 points, with 42 coming from SGA so the Warriors should be on high alert here. The three-ball of the Thunder has been efficient lately, they’re making 38.9% of their attempts over the last 3 games, we’ll see if those numbers are sustainable against the defending champions tonight.

The Warriors are pretty much used to playing without Curry this season, in 15 games they’ve gone 7-8 SU. I do still like their chances here though, this team has been dominant at home with a 20-6 SU record and have pretty much owned the Thunder in recent meetings. Back Golden State to cover.

Golden State Warriors vs Oklahoma City Thunder Predictions & Odds

I can’t see much defense being played here, the two teams combined for 248 points in the first meeting of the season at the end of November played in Oklahoma City. That’s been the general trend in Golden State games vs Northwest Division teams with 10 of their last 14 such games ending with the over landing.

OKC has gone over in 6 of 7 games played in February, and after seeing them score 153 points in their last game, the tempo of tonight’s game will be a fast one I reckon. The two teams are ranked 14th and 15th in offensive efficiency, pace wise they are 1st and 5th averaging 104.9 and 103.7 possessions per game. All the ingredients are there, the players just have to play a free flowing offensive game and we’ll see a ton of points scored here. Let’s back the over.
