They’ll need to continue winning if they want to keep hold of that 3rd seed in the West as the Dallas Mavericks are just a half game back with 2 games left to be played. The good news for Golden State is that they’re playing a team that’s already been eliminated from playoff contention, plus they’ve already beaten the Lakers twice this season, including the game played at Chase Center. Against Pacific Division teams the Warriors have gone 11-4 SU in the last 15 games, however against LA they are only 1-5 ATS in their last 6 at home.

With their season pretty much over, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Lakers shut down their 3 star players. LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook are all questionable for tonight’s game, there’s a good chance we’ve seen the last of them for this season at least. LA is on a 7-game losing streak, they’ve dropped 16 of 18 on the road and things aren’t looking promising ahead of tonight’s game even if they are 7-3 SU in the last 10 meetings with the Warriors.
Lakers players are already making offseason plans, according to reports they will also have a new coaching staff next season as Frank Vogel is getting fired at the end of the season. The sooner Lakers fans forget about this season the better. If drastic changes aren’t made this offseason, it could be a while until we see the Lakers back in contention.
