Portland Trail Blazers vs Golden State Warriors betting tips and predictions for Wednesday’s NBA on ESPN game. Portland will try to avenge a 15-point loss from earlier this season as they travel to San Francisco to take on the Golden State Warriors. Read on for all our free predictions and betting tips.

Portland Trail Blazers

Portland Trail BlazersInjuries have crippled this Portland squad, but on top of that now we have trade rumors surrounding the team saying that they are going to trade either C.J. McCollum or Dame Lillard for Ben Simmons. That’s really not good for team chemistry and with so much on his plate, head coach Chauncey Billups is facing a tough time in his first stint as an NBA head coach. Both Lillard and McCollum will be out for this one, so it’ll be up to Norman Powell and Jusuf Nurkic to try and keep the Blazers competitive in this one. The duo scored 29 and 32 points in the 12 point loss against the Clippers the other day as Portland managed to put up just 90 points. Blazers are the worst road team in the NBA this season with just 1 win in 11 games, they’ve lost 18 times in their last 20 visits against the Warriors.

Golden State Warriors

Golden State WarriorsGolden State is the complete opposite to what Portland is right now. The Warriors are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games, they’ve won 16 of their 19 on the season and at home they are 12-1 in 13 games. Their injury report isn’t even close to the Blazers one, Andre Iguodala remains sidelined with a knee issue, while both Klay Thompson and James Wiseman are progressing with their recoveries from Achilles and knee injuries. After a tough 5-point loss against San Antonio, the Warriors recovered nicely with a 31-point demolition of the Orlando Magic against whom they were 15 point favorites to win. They are favored at home by the same amount of points tonight as well.

I really don’t see any scenario in which the Blazers win here. Their last 4 defeats have been by 12, 28, 31 and 22 points. They are just way too shorthanded to compete with teams right now, even at full strength they would struggle vs Golden State. Warriors to cover here.

Warriors -15 Point Spread is available at -110 odds on bet365

With the way the Blazers are playing right now they might be the worst defensive team in the NBA, even worse than the Charlotte Hornets and that really says it all. In their last 3 games they’ve allowed 120.3 per game and on the road they are allowing 116.8 per game for the season. Tonight they face the 3rd highest scoring team in the league which is coming off a 126 point night at home vs Orlando. For the season the Warriors are averaging 116.8 per game at Chase Center and in the meeting earlier this season they’ve already dropped 118 on the Blazers in a game in which Stephen Curry scored 32. Portland had both Lillard and McCollum in that game, but could manage only 103 on the night. The over has cashed 6 times in the last 10 meetings and the two teams are averaging 231.7 points in those 10 games. With the Blazers defense being so bad I cannot back anything else other than the over in this one.
