The game against the Islanders is the first of a four-game homestand which the Panthers will use to get back on winning track. Last night the Islanders failed 4-1 against the Tampa Bay Lightning after scoring first in less than three minutes into the game.
The teams met for the first time since Tampa Bay beat the Islanders 1-0 in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup semifinals last June.
