Chicago Bulls vs Philadelphia 76ers betting tips and predictions for Saturday’s NBA Game on NBA TV. With just 2 wins in 6 games, the Philadelphia 76ers are hoping to improve on their record as they hit the road and travel to the Windy City to take on the Chicago Bulls. Read on for all our free predictions and betting tips.

Chicago Bulls

The Bulls are coming off back-to-back games of scoring 120+ points which resulted in wins over the Indiana Pacers and Boston Celtics. The win over Indy was particularly impressive as they drained 53% of their three-point attempts and it was Zach LaVine who had himself a night with 28, including 6-of-8 threes made. The Bulls cannot afford to relax though as they face one of the better teams in the Eastern Conference tonight, a team that has beaten them in 10 games in a row. Chicago has been dreadful at home vs the Sixers, they’ve not been able to cover the spread din any of the last 5 meetings at United Center. They have a really solid opportunity to change all that tonight, but they’ll once again be without point-guard Lonzo Ball who is out indefinitely.

Philadelphia 76ers

It’s a quick turnaround for the 76ers who are just coming off a 112-90 win over Toronto, in a game in which they were without center Joel Embiid who sat out with a minor knee issue. He is listed as questionable for tonight’s game, but is likely to suit up after having the night off against Toronto. Tyrese Maxey took it upon himself to lead Philly in last night’s win as he scored a career-high 44 points on 15-for-20 from the field, plus he also connected on 9 of 12 shots from distance as well. It’s hard to expect a repeat of that performance tonight, but it’s pretty clear by now that the 76ers have a really solid 3rd scoring option behind Embiid and Harden. The pressure is still not off head coach Doc Rivers as his team is only 2-4 on the young season, so don’t expect the 76ers to roll over here if Embiid isn’t available.

Philadelphia has owned Chicago in head-to-head meetings, but I think it’s finally time that changes tonight. The Bulls are in way better condition health wise and Philadelphia is on a 2nd night of a back-to-back which means there could be some fatigue there. Back the Bulls at home.

Chicago Bulls vs Philadelphia 76ers Predictions & Odds

Chicago’s main issue during their losing streak against Philadelphia has been scoring the basketball. In the last 10 meetings they’ve averaged 103 points per game while shooting under 45% from the field. That all could change tonight as they’ve gone consecutive games scoring 120+ points and one of those was against a really solid defense in Boston. The 76ers have allowed 110+ points in 2 of their last 3 outings and if Joel Embiid isn’t ready to play that could leave a big hole in the middle for the likes of DeMar DeRozan and Zach Lavine to exploit.

Philadelphia is also capable of putting up a ton of points, they currently own the 8th best offensive rating in the NBA while averaging 112.7 points a night on the road. With the Sixers playing a game last night, I think the Bulls strategy here will be to increase the tempo and force their opponent to run which should translate into more scoring opportunities for both sides. The total has cashed on the over in 2 of the 3 most recent meetings, I’m betting on the points tonight.
