Chicago Bulls vs Brooklyn Nets Predictions & Odds

Chicago Bulls vs Brooklyn Nets betting tips and predictions for Wednesday’s NBA game on ESPN. After failing to cover in their last 7 games, the Brooklyn Nets look to change that tonight as they hit the road and travel to the United Center to take on the Chicago Bulls. Read on for all our free predictions and betting tips.

Chicago Bulls

Chicago BullsJust a game after their streak of 9 wins in a row came to an end, the Chicago Bulls came back roaring and destroyed the Detroit Pistons 133-87 on their home court to get back on the winning track. With 22 points it was Nikola Vucevic who led the scoring, DeMar DeRozan chipped in with 20, 12 rebounds and 7 dimes. One thing that should concern the Bulls fans was another sub-par performance from Zach LaVine who had just 10 points on 3-for-10 shooting, it was the 2nd game in a row in which he shot below 35% from the field. Although they’ve been on a roll lately, bettors haven’t been all that happy with their performance against the spread. This team is only 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games played in January, however they enter tonight’s game on a streak of 9 wins in a row at home.

Brooklyn Nets

Brooklyn NetsThe Brooklyn Nets are also a team bettors have been upset with lately, they’ve failed to cover in 7 games in a row and in those 7 they’ve managed to win just 2 of them. Kyrie Irving will once again suit up, for only the 3rd time this season and James Harden is also expected back after sitting out the Portland game due to fatigue. Speaking of the Portland game, the Nets lost by 6 points on the road which wasn’t a good look at all considering the Blazers were without their 2 best players Lillard and McCollum. Chemistry will be an issue for this team as long as Irving is able to play only in road games, so it’ll be interesting to see how that develops. Nets fans will be optimistic ahead of tonight’s game though, they’ve beaten the Bulls in 11 of the last 15 meetings, plus on the road they are 11-2 SU in the last 13 overall.

Chicago is the more in-form team here for sure, but Brooklyn has 3 superstar caliber players and when they are all playing together it’s really tough to beat them. Assuming that’s the case tonight, I fancy the Nets to continue their solid run in head-to-head meetings. Back the road team to cover.

Chicago Bulls vs Brooklyn Nets Predictions & Odds

Brooklyn Nets +1 Point Spread is available at -110 odds on bet365

I’m a bit surprised the total has been set at 227.5 Point here, considering we’ve had the under cash in 6 straight between these 2 opponents. Over their last 10 head-to-head an average of 223.7 points have been scored, so even if they get to those numbers again we are going under the total. In games played at the United Center the total has gone under in 7 of 9 between them. With the Bulls averaging 110.3 per game in their last 3 and the Nets putting up 112.7 per game I expect both sides to up their defenses a little bit here as it’ll be an important game for both sides. Taking control over the tempo of the game will be crucial and the stakes are pretty high as only 2 games separate these 2 teams at the top of the Eastern Conference. In terms of defensive efficiency Brooklyn ranks 7th while the Bulls are 14th this season. I’m thinking the smart bet here is to go under the total.
