Boston holds the number 2 seed currently in the East, which means they would be going up against the 7th seed which is the winner of the Cavs/Nets play-in match-up as things stand. Not ideal if you ask most Celtics fans, but this team has been so good after the all-star break, they shouldn’t be scared of whoever they get to play in the 1st round.
They are coming off a big home win over Washington on Sunday 144-102, Jaylen Brown went for 32 points, while Jayson Tatum added 22 with both of them playing just 29 minutes in the blowout win.
