Chicago Bulls vs Atlanta Hawks Predictions & Odds

LA Clippers vs Boston Celtics betting tips and predictions for Wednesday’s game in the NBA. It’s a re-match of the game played just 2 days ago as the Atlanta Hawks and Chicago Bulls run it back tonight at United Center. Read on for all our free predictions and betting tips.

Atlanta Hawks

Atlanta HawksEven a surprise comeback from Trae Young didn’t help the Atlanta Hawks against the Bulls the other night at State Farm Arena. They were able to put up 118 points, however the defense collapsed and allowed 130 in a 12-point loss. Cam Reddish had 33, including 8 threes, while Young had 29 but on a fairly poor shooting effort connecting on just 8 of 23 shots. Bogdan Bogdanovic also contributed with 20 points, but even 3 Hawks scoring 20+ didn’t help much. There’s a good chance more players will come out of the health and safety protocols before tipoff, the Hawks could definitely use some extra bodies. They’ve covered just once in their last 5 games and are 5-10 in their last 15 vs Chicago.

Chicago Bulls

Chicago BullsChicago has looked unstoppable at times this season. The win at Atlanta the other day was their 4th in a row and they are just 1.5 games back from the number one seeded Brooklyn Nets in the East. Not having Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso hasn’t hindered this team at all, as DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine have taken over most of the ball handling. DeRozan finished with 35 points and 10 assists, while LaVine had 30 and 9 dimes in only his 2nd game back from covid protocols. In their last 10 games the Bulls have covered 7 times and won 8 of them. Their home form is also stellar at 5-0 SU in their last 5, plus against East teams they are 5-2 ATS in the last 7 games.

Atlanta’s form on the road has been poor for most of the season, they are just 7-9 in 16 games. The Bulls have been dominant lately and with them winning the meeting earlier this week by 12 points, I expect them to do so again tonight in front of their home fans. Take the home team.

Chicago -8.5 Point Spread is available at -110 odds on bet365

These two teams are averaging 234.2 points per game in the last 10 meetings and with the previous game finishing with 248 points, it was the 4th over in the last 5 Chicago Bulls game. They’ve now gone over in 5 of 6 vs Southeast Division opponents and are averaging 125.3 points per game in their last 3 contests, the 2nd highest mark in the entire league. Atlanta struggled a bit with scoring lately, but getting back Trae Young and a couple of more scorers should fix that problem. They’ve averaged 107.6 points per game on the road this season, against the Bulls they are scoring 115.3 per game in the last 3 meetings. I’m expecting both DeRozan and LaVine to go 30+ in this one again, plus a redemption game from Young who went just 8-for-23 in the game played in Atlanta the other night. Back the points again here.
