These Knicks have been really frustrating to watch at times this season. Right now they are on a bit of a poor run with 3 losses in 4 games and are coming off a home loss to the Orlando Magic. It was already their 2nd loss of the season against one of the worst teams in the Eastern Conference which isn’t a good look for Tom Thibodeau and his team. Julius Randle is out of form, he had only 13 points in the loss and took just 11 shots. Kemba Walker and Evan Fournier have completely lost it, Thibodeau doesn’t even play them any more in the 4th quarter, this team is just in all kinds of trouble at the moment. They have a chance to turn things around tonight against a team they’ve beaten 4 times in the last 5 meetings. They’ve also gone 4-1 ATS in those 5 games, however this Chicago team is a lot different from the one they faced in those 5 games.
Chicago Bulls
The Bulls are coming off a long West coast road trip which they concluded with a 114-108 win over the Denver Nuggets. They finished the trip with a 3-2 record with their two losses coming against Golden State and Portland. Returning to home is a positive thing for them, they’ve been really good at the United Center this season with 5 wins in 7 games. However, one of those two losses came against the Knicks earlier in the season when New York came out on top 104-103. That only adds fuel to the fire within the Bulls roster, you can bet on DeRozan and LaVine marking this game on their calendars and being extra motivated to get their revenge tonight. Chicago is 7-2 ATS in their last 9 home games and have won 7 of their last 8 games played on a Sunday.
It’s hard for me to pick the Knicks here, despite them winning once already this season against the Bulls. Chicago is a way better team overall and they don’t have nearly as many problems as the Knicks do right now. They should have enough to win this one at home by a comfortable margin.
