He finished the game with 33 points and 14 rebounds, D’Angelo Russell added 20 and 6 assists, while Malik Beasley was the star off the bench with 29 points. Karl-Anthony Towns had only 11 on the night, but the Wolves didn’t need him to step up as they were able to outrebound Miami and force them to commit more turnovers, which ultimately decided the game. Wolves have now covered in their last 5 games and against the Hornets they’ll have their backs against the wall as they’ve won just 3 times in their last 14 visits to Charlotte.

Those Hornets are on a bit of a streak of their own with 7 wins in 8 games. They are coming off an away win over the Orlando Magic 106-99 on Wednesday. Three players scored 20+ points as Rozier, Ball and Kelly Oubre Jr. all went off, compensating for Gordon Hayward’s 0-for-6 night from the field and just 1 point scored.
