Brooklyn Nets vs Phoenix Suns betting tips and predictions for Tuesday’s NBA game on TNT. Devin Booker makes his long awaited return for the Suns who take on the Nets at Barclays Center tonight. Read on for all our free predictions and betting tips.

Brooklyn Nets

Brooklyn NetsThis will be a 2nd game in two nights for the Nets, as they come off a disappointing 124-116 loss at home to the Clippers. Despite the loss though, there were some positives to take away from that game. Cam Thomas continued his stellar play with another 47 point game, just a game after dropping 44. The defense is something that will need to be addressed though, the Nets have allowed 126, 123 and 139 points in their last 3 outings.

Kevin Durant and Ben Simmons both remain out, it’ll be an interesting couple of days before Thursday’s trade deadline. Nobody on the roster is safe, this team could look very different on Friday than it does today. Brooklyn does have a solid record of 10 wins in the last 15 meetings with the Suns, however it’s hard to rely on those numbers considering the circumstances.

Phoenix Suns

Phoenix SunsGetting back Devin Booker fixes so many problems for the Phoenix Suns who have struggled a ton offensively during his absence. In 26 games they won only 11 of them while averaging just 108.8 points per game. With a new owner coming in, moves are to be expected ahead of Thursday, Chris Paul’s name was mentioned in numerous trades already as the Suns went for Kyrie Irving and failed.

That’s behind them now, and despite the noise around the team they’ve performed well winning 8 of their last 10 games and covering the spread 8 times. On the road they are 6-2 ATS in their last 8, the likes of Cameron Payne and Landry Shamet will remain out as both are dealing with foot injuries. Booker last played on Christmas Day, before that he had a 58 point explosion vs New Orleans.

I’m not expecting much out of Booker here, after all he has missed the last 26 games. But, Phoenix should have the upper hand. They are more experienced and have had more rest ahead of tonight’s game. Brooklyn is playing on a 2nd night of a back-to-back, let’s go with the road team to cover here.

Brooklyn Nets vs Phoenix Suns Predictions & Odds

Speeding things up has backfired a bit for Nets head coach Jacque Vaughn. The team hasn’t responded as well as he had hoped they would, especially on defense where they’ve allowed an average of 122 points per game in their last 3 outings, the 3rd worst mark in the entire NBA. One of the reasons why the Suns have been so great lately is their play on defense, they just held the Pistons and Celtics to 100 or less point in their last 2 games.

The total has gone under in 7 of their last 9 vs Atlantic Division teams and in 8 of the last 10 head-to-head vs the Nets played in Barclays Center. Brooklyn could be a step slow on offense tonight, as that tends to happen to teams playing 2 games in less than 48 hours. This game has all the potential for a low scoring output, so let’s back the under here.
