Kevin Durant is expected back after the all-star break most likely, while Ben Simmons and T.J. Warren are two more players who are questionable here.
That shouldn’t put a dent into the Nets’ hopes here though, as they still have a healthy Kyrie Irving on the team. Los Angeles Lakers
LA will be without their two best players in Lebron James and Anthony Davis here. James sits out following a controversial ending in Boston, while Davis is still working his way back from injury and doesn’t want to ramp up production too soon and get re-injured. It will be up to Russell Westbrook and the rest of the Lakers to carry the load here, this team is 5-0-1 ATS in their last 6 road games, successfully covering the spread in 5 straight vs Eastern Conference opponents.
Lonnie Walker IV could return to the line-up, that would be a much needed offensive boost for an otherwise limited roster. LA has had it’s fair share of issues vs teams from the Atlantic Division failing to cover the spread in their last 5 such games. They did win the first meeting of the season between the two teams by 13 points at Crypto.com Arena, however both teams were doing much better on the injury front in that game.

The Lakers are still a top 5 team in pace of play, playing a team like the Nets on the road doesn’t leave much room for error so they’ll look to push the tempo here. Russell Westbrook will be a spark off the bench, I expect his minutes to go up significantly here with both AD and Lebron out.

Brooklyn also ranks 4th in offensive efficiency, despite not having had Durant for a decent chunk of games since the new year started.
