Golden State Warriors
The 1st meeting of the season was probably one of the best games from Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson together all season long. The Splash bros duo combined for 66 points, connecting on 10 threes from 22 attempts. It’s hard to beat the Warriors when they are playing like that, but unfortunately for them they haven’t been able to replicate those type of performances on a consistent basis this season.
Road form has been a concern all year long, they’ve shown signs of improvement winning 2 of their last 3 away from home, but they are still a long way to go before becoming a relevant team on the road with just 5 wins in 22 games so far. Andre Iguodala has been ruled out of tonight’s game with a hip injury, while Klay Thompson has been upgraded to probable after missing the game at Washington. Steph Curry had 41 in that win, while Klay’s replacement Jordan Poole finished with 32.
It’s always a fun encounter when these two teams match-up. I just can’t imagine the Warriors stealing one on the road, as it’ll be the 1st post-Finals match-up in Boston and the crowd will be up for it. So will the Celtics players, so I think this is an easy Boston win.
