The Air Force Falcons are having a decent season ranked first in MW – Mountain with a 9-3 record.

They have won three straight games including a 48-14 over UNLV to close out the regular season. Michel carried 12 times and scored from the 2-yard line in the third quarter as 14 players ran the ball for the Falcons. Air Force attempted no passes but had 69 running plays and more than a 20-minute advantage in time of possession.

The Louisville Cardinals finished the regular season with a 6-6 record.

They are coming off a disappointing 52-21 loss to rival Kentucky in their regular-season finale, which came after two dominant wins over Syracuse and Duke.

Malik Cunningham rushed for 2-yard TD to tie the game at 7-apiece. He completed 12 of 20 passes for 145 yards before being taken to the dressing room with 10 minutes left. Evan Conley came in and threw an 8-yard TD pass and Maurice Burkley rushed for a 7-yard TD with eight seconds left for the Cardinals.

The Cardinals are 74th in the nation in rush defense after giving up 156.67 yards per game during their 12 regular season games and are 94th in yards per attempt at 4.52.
